Self-advocacy is about making your voice heard! Part 3
A series of videos on self-advocacy
In part 3, Chester talks about how he advocated during his school days, including a protest against dissecting animals in his biology class.
Self-advocacy is about making your voice heard. All over the world, people have joined the self-advocacy movement to demand their human rights. To honor the richness of this movement, the Self-Advocacy Association of New York State (SANYS) and the Harvard Law School Project on Disability (HPOD) are collaborating to interview self-advocate leaders. We want to share their stories and the lessons they have learned through their advocacy so that self-advocate leaders can make their voices heard more widely, as the movement continues to grow.
This series of videos features HPOD's own Hezzy Smith interviewing Chester Finn, a self-advocate from SANYS.
