Jonathan L. Kempner
Counselor to the Harvard Law School Project on Disability
Jonathan L. Kempner is Counselor to the Harvard Law School Project on Disability. He is a Scholar in Residence at Winthrop House, a Harvard undergraduate residential community, and was a 2019 Harvard Advanced Leadership Initiative Fellow. Mr. Kempner is President Emeritus of TIGER 21, having served as President from October 2009 through June 2016. He is Chairman of the Board of The Ciesla Foundation, a 501(c)(3) educational organization that has produced award-winning documentaries. He has participated in various other charitable and philanthropic activities, including a lead role in First Year Connect - a college orientation program to combat polarization on campuses - in partnership with Search for Common Ground. Mr. Kempner received his B.A. from the University of Michigan (with High Honors and High Distinction, Phi Beta Kappa), and his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he served on the Stanford Law Review and as Chairman of the Law Forum.
